I came across this as someone very new to Medium and also coming from a YouTube background I’m pretty flabbergasted at someone turning their nose up at $2500. If only they knew what people would give to have even a fraction of their reduced income… But at the end of the day, just like how I’ve moved away from my old channel from sheet lack of fulfilment, maybe their time here is up for them too.
